ARDUINO Shield
What is Arduino Shield ?
Arduino Shields are the boards, which are plugged over the Arduino Board to expand its Functionalities. Shield is defined as the hardware of device, which increase the capabilities of the project. It also make work easy, Such as, Ethernet shield are used to connect the Arduino board to the Internet. Through Cable we can connect modules and sensors to the shield.
The Advantages of Arduino Shield
1. The hardware Components on the shield can be easily connected.
2. It add some new functions to the Arduino project.
3. It is easy to connect board with shield to the internet.
4. The shield is easily attached and detached from the Arduino board.
TYPES OF SHIELDS
1. Ethernet Shield
2. Proto Shield
3. Relay Shield
4. LCD Shield
5. Xbee Shield
6. Bluetooth Shield
7. Capacitive Touchpad Shield
Arduino Board
Arduino board is like a heart part of any electronic project. There are different types of parts in Arduino boards like, Microcontroller, Digital Input/output Pins, Connector, Crystal Oscillator. Some components are depend on what type board is it?
